Oh…my dear, beloved coffee….
You haven’t been the same since I began my journey to the AIP lifestyle!
Okay, okay….I know regular caffeinated coffee isn’t AIP compliant, but I just can’t bring myself to give it up completely! I have, however, gone without it for months at a time giving myself limited access to it whenever I have a flare-up, but I just haven’t the discipline to give it up completely…just yet.
NutPods is one of my most favorite coffee creamers in the WORLD, but it can render itself a bit too pricey for my budget to keep it in constant rotation. Soooo…..I’ve been on the hunt for non-dairy AIP-compliant coffee creamer recipes that I can quickly whip up at home!
Having said that, I think I have found some Non-Dairy Coffee Creamers from christcenteredholidays.com that appear to be ‘to die for’ recipes for the AIP bound!
I have not made them yet, but I was so excited to share these recipes in hopes that it can prevent others from having to spend a whole cow’s worth amount of money on non-dairy creamers contained in a school-sized milk carton container! I mean….let’s get real for the groceries-on-a-budget peeps….these containers took me back to my primary years in elementary school. It is so hard for me to justify spending that kind of money on a creamer – especially since I use so much… It doesn’t last me long at all!
I am partial to the unsweetened creamers, hence my love for the hazelnut taste of NutPods. Therefore, my first attempt at making these homemade coffee creamers will be with the Hazelnut Coffee Creamer recipe! (Since hazelnuts are indeed a nut, it’s important to note that they are not included in AIP unless reintroduced tolerated, which I have done…. thus far.)

NOTE: Since the mixing instructions for each of these healthy flavored coffee creamer recipes is the same, I’ve listed the ingredients for each recipe first and then the instructions at the end.
Recipe Instructions (for all four healthy coffee creamers):
Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender (such as a Vita Mix blender) and whirl on high for one minute or until ingredients are completely combined.
Serve immediately. Store unused portion in a covered container in the refrigerator.
**NOTE: When my regular blender that I’d had for eons broke down on me, I went on the search for a blender that would be able to blend up all my veggies for my daily green smoothie, and one that was big enough to hold everything I wanted to blend (which is a LOT!) I was so very reluctant to by the Vita Mix blender, but after inquiring and getting the public’s opinion on my Instagram site (instagram.com/alifeblessed), many of you kept stating that the Vita Mix was worth the money. The one I linked is the exact Vita Mix I bought. I had to put it on the payment plan, which is interest free, by the way, because I just don’t have several hundred dollars to spend at a moment’s notice. Reluctantly, my hubby agreed to do it. He knew how serious I have been about my health and knew that I would not let it just sit in the corner of the counter unused. He knew better, which is the ONLY reason he agreed to do it.
Let me just say …. BEST MONEY I’VE EVER SPENT!! The peeps’ verdict was right:
